Speaking Engagements

Rod spoke at the Annual Meeting of the NCBA Intellectual Property Law Section on April 11, 2003. Rod's paper, "Victor/Victoria: The Changing Face Of Trademark Dilution", addressed the present and future of federal dilution law.

Rod co-chaired and designed the curriculum for the INTA Trademark Dilution Forum 2003, a two-day advanced-level seminar that took place in Washington, DC on March 6 and 7, 2003.

During 2001 and 2002, Rod spoke at series of seminars sponsored by the ABA Intellectual Property Section entitled Practical Tips On Trademark Litigation, held at four locations around the country. Rod's topic was "Use Of Surveys And Survey Experts In Trademark Litigation: Strategy and Tactics For The Litigator." Among the national panel of more than a dozen speakers, Rod received the highest speaker ratings from attendees at all four sessions.

In October 2000, Rod spoke at a seminar entitled Doing Business Online: Marketing & Transactional Issues, sponsored by Law Seminars International in Charlotte, NC.
